Organized annually by Crown Publications and SAIChE
The awards for work undertaken during 2009 and judged in February 2010 will be categorized as follows: Chemical Technology Undergraduate Student of the Year 2009 This award is open to all final-year students in the Chemical Engineering departments at universities in South Africa. Chemical Technology Research Paper of the Year 2009 Chemical Technology Industry Award Chemical Technology Specialization Awards Each category will be sponsored and accompanied by a monetary prize. In all cases, team submissions are allowed, but prize money will be divided evenly among team members (or in a ratio agreed to by all team members). Closing date for entries (which should not be longer than five typed pages, double-spacing) is 12 January 2010.Email the Editor, Glynnis Koch, at chemtech@crown.co.za, for more information and an entry form, or telephone 011 622 4770 and ask for Glynnis. Winning articles will be published in the February 2010 issue of Chemical Technology.
