Engineering the next one hundred years
Impact of Future Electrical and Electronic Technologies

The topics include:
The World and South Africa in the 2010’s, Global Energy for the future, Future Landscape of Southern African Energy, Future of Telecommunications Technologies, System Complexity, Future Materials for engineering applications, A Ride into Space, Biomedical Applications, Impact of Engineering Activities on the Environment, and Creating skills for Future Technologies.

The speakers are well known international and local persons. They include Clem Sunter, NASA, the Dean of Engineering at Wits – Prof. Beatrice Lacquet, The Chairman of SANEA, Brian Statham, and other speakers.

The price for the conference is R1,200-00 plus VAT for SAIEE Members and R1,500-00 plus VAT for Non-members which includes refreshments – tea, lunch and a cocktail party. Parking is provided
